Frequently Asked Questions
Are Ricta Cloud Wheels good?
Yep, they're pretty awesome. Ricta makes some of the best skateboard wheels on the market. Clouds are a best seller because they can basically replace your hard wheels for soft wheels. This gives riders the ability to film silently or just get that smooth ride for cruising.
Are Ricta Clouds good for tricks?
You can still do tricks with Ricta Clouds, but we recommend using hard wheels for tricks. Soft wheels, like Clouds, can hang up on landings and copings. This is not ideal, obviously.
How thick / wide are Ricta Clouds?
Here are all the specs on widths and contact patches (CP):
Width:
- 52mm = 32mm width
- 54mm = 34mm width
- 56mm = 34mm width
- 60mm = 43mm width
Contact Patch Size:
- 52mm = 19mm CP
- 54mm = 18mm CP
- 56mm = 22mm CP
- 60mm = 32mm CP
What size Ricta Clouds should I buy?
We recommend checking what size wheels you are running now and then just buying the closest option, leaning towards on sizing down. For example, if you have 55mm, we recommend getting 54mm Ricta Clouds.
Why do we recommend this? Well you really don't want to get wheelbite with Ricta Clouds. They're going to grip and stop your deck faster than hard wheels. So size down to be safe.
