About G-Form Pads

G-Form recommends machine washing pads in a gentle cycle in cool water with mild soap / detergent. Let them air dry, do not put them in the dryer. Garment bags while washing the pads is recommended.

G-Form pads will dry faster if you can get more air in them, so we recommend hanging them on a shower pole or closeline through the pad. Pretend you're putting on the pad, but instead of sticking your arm / leg through it, you stick a shower or clothes line. This will allow for more air to enter and the pad to dry faster.

Unlike other G-Form Pads, the E-Line Guards should be hand washed. Spot clean the tech gear by removing your device and wiping the product with a damp cloth.

G-Form Pads use a special kind of foam that disperses the impact in a way that regular hard pads cannot. The foam is also much more flexible, which allows for more comfort and breath-ability.

It is better to just buy the Knee Shin Guards. These hybrids will stick in place on your legs better.

You can use both shin and knee, but we can't say we recommend it.

The material G-Form pads are made from is proprietary. The supportive and placement parts of the pad are ventilated mesh to keep you cool and dry.

The supportive materials vary from pad to pad, but typically the outer layer is 85% nylon and 15% Spandex. Comfort layer 100% EVA, ArmorTex is 5% Kevlar® 87% nylon 8% Spandex. Mesh panel on rugged is 82% nylon 18% Spandex.

Yes, we love G-Form pads for skateboarding. Just understand that they are not all designed for abrasion resistance. If you are doing a lot of street skateboarding on rough asphalt, it might be better to get a hard pad or just wear G-Forms under a hard pad.

G-Forms work great under leathers if you are a downhill skateboarder.

How G-Form SmartFlex Works

G-Form SmartFlex Pads are proudly made in the USA and the pads themselves are constructed in China.

G-Form Pads differentiate between Adult and Youth. Adult pads can be made worn by women or men. Just check the size charts and order the one that works best for you.

G-Form does make youth sizes so you can check those if a smaller size is needed.

G-Form makes pads for many sports where impacts are common. These include baseball, mountain biking, BMX, skate, motorcycling, soccer, and many more.

G-Form also makes a variety of trail gloves and other types of protective gear other than just elbow guards and knee guards.
