Ahoy Matey! The 2019 Landyachtz Dinghy Series is here for endless fun
**The Revival Series is constructed of all reclaimed and recycled wood.**
The Dinghy is a board that has become so well-known and is so well-liked, that it deserves an entire series of its own. The Landyachtz Dinghy is the definition of what you want in a mini deck. At 28.5”, it’s just the right size – plenty of foot room, yet still small enough to carry, stash away, or strap on to your backpack. Great for short distance commutes, pedestrian slalom, and also a great fit for all you kick-flipping monkeys out there.

Mini Meets Functionality
There are a lot of minis out on the market. In fact, what we refer to today as a mini, replicate – more or less – old school skateboards. Skaters have been shredding decks similar to the Dinghy for years. So let’s examine a few things that sets apart the Dinghy from other minis on the market.
Wheel Well Flares
Historically, minis have been delegated strictly to 60mm wheels and smaller. With wheel wheels 65mm wheels are not an issue at all. If you are willing to add some additional risers, or want to wedge and/or de-wedege your trucks, you might even be able to get away with 68mm-70mm wheels. Don’t forget that the wheel wells on the Dinghy have some flares! Wheel flares are great for locking in your feet if you have the desire for sliding.
Functional Nose and Tail
The tail on the Dinghy has a TON of pop. Great for all the flip tricks in the book and for getting up-and-over obstacles. While not as pronounced, the nose offers plenty of room for nose-manuals and shuvits.
Just the Right Touch of Concave
Who doesn’t like some concave? Well the Dinghy has it. Concave is often overlooked in mini’s but it is extremely helpful when hopping off curbs and keeping your feet in place. The concave, in addition to the other features mentioned, also make this board great for the skate parks.

Pick One, Shred All
The Landyachtz ATV series is an absolute favorite over here at Stoked. Their shapes and sizes are absolutely perfect for the street skater with bigger feet (or just prefers bigger sizes), but also feel great for the longboarder that just can't commit to a tiny board.
These things are flowy, ride smoothly, pop like crazy, stable for bombing hills, capable of dumping thane and generally are perfect for the skater who watches way too much GX1000.
Whether you're shredding San Francisco, or just ripping your local alley, the ATV is your gnar stick.
For your comfort, these boards come in 3 different shapes and sizes so you can find your perfect ride.

Phattest Wheels in the Game
Fatty Hawgs are straight up phat. They might be wide but that won't stop you from throwing ridiculous stand-up slides. Time to get technical on that sketchy loose setup. These wheels come in at 63mm, you can keep your trucks super loose and you still won't get wheelbite. Maybe you're feeling a grip run or two today also... well, yet again, Fatties have you covered. Don't expect them to grip like Biggie Hawgs, but they'll definitely do the job.
For your comfort, these wheels come in at 78a which make them nice and squishy for cruising down to the beach on your days off.

For a freeride and freestyle setup, it doesn’t get much better than the Landyachtz Drop Carve. A wonderfully snappy flex, symmetrical kicktails, and a variable concave make the Drop Carve a no brainer if you are into doing tricks and/or slides. Even if you are mostly looking for a carving or commuter board, the Landyachtz Drop Carve makes an excellent choice. You simply cannot go wrong – this board will take your riding skills to the next level.
Drop Carve – Landyachtz Longboards
A Sensational Freestyle Setup
The Landyachtz Drop Carve is a pro at handling whatever tricks you want throw its way. With Fiberglass on the inner and outer layers and bamboo in between, this board has a real nice pop to it. You’ll appreciate this plentiful pop when landing early grabs, shuvits, pressure flips, all the fancy stuff. It's upturned, symmetrical tails makes locking in manuals so convenient, you won’t even have to think twice before you manual that entire parking lot.
Ride and Slide
Why not combo some of your freestyle tricks with some slides? With the Landyachtz Drop Carve, you can do just that. The Landyachtz Drop Carve features a unique variable concave, with less concave in the middle, more at the ends, right before the trucks. The Drop Carve also features a subtle W-concave throughout the board. Whether you’re strictly looking for some hard carves, sliding, or a mixture of both, The Drop Carve will make your feet feel right at home.
Another nice feature about the Drop Carve is that it makes for a great commuter board. The drop carve is great for skating to your friend’s place, classes, the grocery store, wherever. It’s relatively short wheelbase and length, drop through design, and responsive flex make this board fun when you are on the run.
37 or 40? Which to Choose…?
Choices, choices… There will be two main differences. The most obvious is the difference in length. 37 and 40 simply represents the length of the board. If you have a wider stance or want to do some cross-steps and other dance moves, you would appreciate the extra length in the Drop Carve 40.
If a wide stance isn’t your thing, and you want a board that is slightly more manageable for tricks, the Drop Carve 37 would be more appropriate. If you are taking your Drop Carve on commutes, the 37 will be slightly more portable.
Another main difference between the Drop Carve 37 and the Drop Carve 40 will be, well… the way they carve. The Drop Carve 37 has a shorter wheelbase which will make it turn a bit quicker. The 40 will be slightly less nimble, but will turn a bit wider, giving it slightly better carving characteristics.
At the end of the day, you can’t go wrong with either size. Both the 37 and 40 Drop Carves are great choices for freeriding, freestyle, carving, and commuting.
