Skateboard pivot cups are tiny urethane or nylon cups pressed into the truck baseplate. They cradle the hanger pivot point so trucks turn smoothly without metal-on-metal wear. As they flatten or crack, steering gets sloppy and noisy. Fresh cups cost little and instantly tighten response for street, park, downhill, or cruising skateboards.
