Founded in 1995 by pro skateboarder Julien Stranger under Deluxe Distribution, Antihero Skateboards emerged as a raw antidote to corporate skate culture. Stranger, frustrated with the industry's "stale" direction, built a brand celebrating rebellion, DIY ethos, and unpolished aggression.
Iconic for its screaming eagle logo—drawn by Todd Francis—and provocative graphics (pigeons, doves, satirical jabs), Antihero decks are 7-ply maple beasts built for hammers. The roster? Legends like John Cardiel, Grant Taylor (2011 SOTY), Tony Trujillo, Peter Hewitt, Frank Gerwer, Chris Pfanner, Daan van der Linden, and Brian Anderson—riders who bomb hills, grind crust, and live the antihero life.
Videos like Tent City and Beauty and the Beast tours with Girl cemented their legacy. Thirty years on, Antihero still fuels skateboarding's gritty soul: no sellouts, just skate.
RETURN POLICY
We offer hassle-free returns within 30 days on brand new, resellable, and unused products without restocking fees.
In most cases, return shipping will be your responsibility. We can offer return labels for a fee upon request.
Pre-paid return shipping label have a flat fee depending on the type of product you are returning:
Wheels/trucks/bearings/etc - $7.99
Completes/decks - $16.99
Large completes/decks (over 34") - $21.99
Returns that are used, opened, or damaged are subject to a restocking fee. Products that are bought as used, open box, or mystery are final sale.
