Powell-Peralta Dragon Formula Nano Cubic Wheels, White/Blue, 56mm/97a
Powell-Peralta Dragon Formula Nano Cubic wheels in White/Blue move into a 56mm park-and-street size with 97A snap. Dragon Formula still rolls over rough ground better than a classic hard wheel, then grips and slides with the control of a 99A or 101A on ledges, rails, pools, and park lines. The extra diameter holds speed between pushes and through transitions, while high rebound keeps you moving on cracked pavement instead of walking the board. Offset Nano Cubic geometry covers your axle nuts, climbs curbs and coping, and still locks into grinds. Sold as a set of four and poured in the USA.
Dragon Formula 97A Urethane
97A Dragons sit firmer than the 93A pour without going full 99A or 101A. You keep the slide and response of a hard street wheel, plus a smoother ride on rough concrete and more rebound—up to about 20% higher than typical hard wheels. That means more speed in bowls and parks, less vibration on the way to the spot, and a urethane that lasts instead of flat-spotting after a few slide sessions. Slick on ledges, fast in pools, solid at the park.
Wheel Shape Explained
Nano Cubic is an asymmetrical, offset update of Powell-Peralta’s classic Cubic and MiniCubic shapes. Bearings sit toward the inner edge, so the wide outer radial covers your nuts, adds stability, and rolls up curbs, walls, and cracks. The inner radial leaves more truck exposed, grabs obstacles, and locks into grinds, then releases when you want out. At 56mm tall and 37mm wide with a 21mm wide ride patch, this size is built for roll and lock-in on transition and bigger street obstacles while the offset profile keeps the wheel from feeling like a brick.
